Newspaper JB

I’ve been following the decline of print newspapers for the past few years. Great institutions that operate for more than 50 years in several Brazilians states are stopping printing the News, some like “Diary of the Night,” “The Night”, “The Journal”, “The Daily News,” “Last Time”, “The Tribune”. Especially in the southeastern, companies already had ended their activities, either through mismanagement or lack of wisdom with the evolution of media and news.

The latest to give up of his impression was the “Journal of Brazil” with the campaigning of 100% electronic version and announced that soon all the other newspapers will follow their new proposal. I suppose this theory is a way to camouflage failure and inability to grow. The administrators of these newspapers should ask themselves the reason that led them to reach at this point and why other newspapers continues expanding and gaining more space on the newsstands.

I do not believe that all readers agree with this new and unique way to access the news. Do we have to take your notebook to breakfast table? Or worse, to the toilet?
